This is a 6XAS 6-Channel PCM1024 Computer Radio Control System from Futaba.
This system is designed for aircraft use, for helicopters use FUTK33**.
This radio has a memory backup chip, which enables it to keep the radio
settings when the transmitter battery is removed for cycling.
This Futaba radio is diode protected to prevent overcharging, which means that
the battery cannot be discharged through the transmitter.
FEATURES: PCM 1024 Transmitter with built-in PCM or PPM(FM) option. This
system has a PPM(FM) receiver. For PCM option you must purchase
a PCM receiver separately.
Can be purchased on either 50MHz and 72MHz frequencies.
Includes R127DF Dual Conversion FM Narrow Band Receiver.
6-different aircraft model memory.
All-channel servo reversing.
This radio has its Trainer function on a push button.
Dual rates on 2 channels using 2 switches, or on 3 channels using
1 switch (see COMMENTS).
Exponential on airplane throttle, rudder, aileron and elevator
(None on helicopter throttle).
Fail safe in PCM mode only.
Also in PCM mode only, the battery fail safe moves the throttle to a
predetermined position, or a fast idle if it has not been set.
Electronic trim memory that remembers the trim settings of stored
models. Trim settings need to be set at center for this to
function properly.
Switchable and variable rate channel control, with proportional
channel adjusting on the variable rate.
In addition to the pre-programmed mixes, this radio allows for up two
user-defined programming mixes.
Expanded pattern and helicopter software.
Includes Sanyo transmitter and receiver NiCds and overnight charger.
Trainer system port on back for PPM(FM) mode only (trainer cord is
not included). Compatible with 4VF, 6VA, 6XA, 7Us, 8Us and 9Zs.
Trainer function is activated when the button is pressed and held
down, and automatically turns off when the button is released.
128-segment Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) screen simplifies all
programming work for rapid input, from fine-tuning control
surface settings to accessing the 6-model memory.
Rounded side panels flow naturally into a slightly concave are on
the back side, increasing comfort and grip strength.
The stick length and tension are adjustable providing an improved
feel.
Switches are provided for dual rates (D/R); Programmable mixers (PMX)
ATV on all 6 channels
Standard Mode 2 (Can be changed to Mode 1,3 or 4)(refer to manual).
For Aircraft the extensive preprogrammed mixing features include:
Flaperon Airbrake
V-tail Elevator->flap
Elevon Flap-> elevator
For Helicopter features include:
Hovering throttle Hovering pitch
Revolution mixing Idle up
Swashplate type selection Throttle hold
Rudder offset Pitch rates, normal, idle up, hover
The T6XAS may be used for sailplane, but Futaba recommends the
8UAPS radio FUTJ81**, specifically for sailplanes.
One year warranty.

To use Dual Rates on All Three Channels:
-The radio has only 2 dual rate switches - aileron and elevator.
-If you do not need rudder dual rate, you simply use the stock
set up of aileron and elevator on their assigned switches.
-To use rudder dual rate, please be aware that to do so you must
make a change in the parameters menu, and all 3 dual rates must
now work together on the aileron dual rate switch.
-To set up rudder dual rate:
Turn the radio on.
Press mode buttons together.
Confirm you are on the right model, change it if needed.
Arrow up on mode until you hit PARA.
Press the cursor button until the screen says DRSW.
Press the data input + button to change it to 2.
Mode button arrow up until you get back to d/r.
Set up dual rates (d/r) for all 3 channels (1, 2, and 4)
-This radio does not feature "Crow" mixing. Use an
8U, 9C, or 9Z radio system instead.
