On February 9, 1916 the experimental department of the Sopwith Aviation Co. Ltd. passed the prototype of a single seat fighting scout that had been designed by a man named Herbert Smith. Our model is exact scale in every detail. Rib spacing, tail size, shape, and everything about the model is as accurate as can be made. Nothing has been added or taken away. Even though the model is exact scale, it is easily taken apart for transportation. Only about 10 minutes are required for field assembly and less for take down.
